Good news Odd Lots listeners.

Fraught Lots is returning for a second year!

The annual Odd Lots pub quiz event will return for another run on Monday, Feb. 5, 2024 from 7pm at Caveat NYC.
Which means you have another chance to compete against fellow fans for Odd Lots glory. Come and test your knowledge of finance, markets and economics, have some drinks, meet some special guests and compete for some truly odd prizes.

What is
Fraught Lots
?

Fraught Lots is trivia night hosted by the Odd Lots crew. In the grand tradition of ‘pub quizzes’ we invite you to compete against fellow listeners in a battle of wits and knowledge.


When and where will this take place?

Fraught Lots is happening on Monday, Feb. 5 from 7pm at Caveat NYC (21A Clinton Street).


How do I attend?

You can purchase tickets over here for a special early bird price. Space is limited so reserve early.


Do I need to be on a team in order to compete?

It’s a team trivia night, so it’s great if you want show up as a team. But if you show up solo, that’s great too, and we’ll make sure you get added to a team.

Please note, the maximum team size is six people. And if you do plan to show up as a team, everyone in the team needs to buy a ticket.


Do I have to compete at all? Can I just attend the event?

We highly encourage you to participate in the trivia evening, but we certainly won’t force you!


What type of trivia will this involve?

Financial, markets, economics, Odd Lots lore. There’ll be something for everyone.


How will you avoid cheating? Will I get to keep my phone?

Fraught Lots will take place on an honor system. Anyone caught looking at their phones repeatedly or whispering into a suspicious-looking earpiece will be publicly named and shamed.


Are there prizes on offer for the winners?

In addition to significant bragging rights, winners of the quiz will get Odd Lots swag and some … interesting … prizes.


Will Matt Levine be allowed to compete again?

Matt Levine is banned from competing for reasons of over-competence.
